Network Programming Guide

Step by Step

These are the Simple Mobile network settings that will work for most, if not all samsung gsm phones currently on the market today. Please delete all other saved network profile settings in your phone otherwise you might select the incorrect profile in the future. You will need to set-up MMS and Internet/WAP profiles separately in most cases.

Internet/WAP Setup

1.        1. Enter *#87927#.

2.        2. Enter the appropriate settings as shown below:

1.        • Set Name: simplemobile

2.        • Access Name: simple

3.        • Auth type: None

4.        • Protocol: HTTP

5.        • Home URL: http://www.google.com

6.        • Proxy: 0.0.0.0

7.        • Port: 0

8.        • Linger time: 300

9.        • Select Save

MMS Setup

1.        1. Enter *#87667#.

2.        2. Enter the appropriate settings as shown below:

1.        • Set Name: simplemms

2.        • Access Name: simple

3.        • Auth type: Secure

4.        • Protocol: HTTP

5.        • Home URL: http://smpl.mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc

6.        • Proxy: 0.0.0.0

7.        • Port: 0

8.        • Linger time: 300

9.        • Select Save
